Although they’ve kept their relationship mostly private, social media detectives stumbled upon a February 2021 Instagram post where Colin calls Ayo his “girlfriend.” He posted a very couple-y selfie of him and Ayo wearing sheet masks and wrote, “after much consideration I have decided that this year my valentine is my girlfriend Ayo. this is a photo of us together doing Dr. Jart+ Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution™ sheet mask.”

Fans in love with Ayo were so fucking pissed that Colin’s buddy, Fire Island star Joel Kim Booster, had to come to his defense. “I’ve known Ayo’s boyfriend for close to a decade and he is such a kind, smart, funny dude and y’all are being weird as shit,” he wrote in a since-deleted Tweet. “Log off and make a real human friend I’m begging you.” To clarify, he wrote this in September 2023, so we don’t know if Ayo and Colin are still dating now.

The internet lost its mind after Ayo posted an Instagram Story with Paul that literally could’ve been a hard launch. In the photo, both actors are laughing, Paul’s blushing and has a hand on his head, and Ayo is latched onto his shoulder. She captioned it, “Happy St. Paddy’s 🍀.” Okay, this post was probably just a reference to the ongoing joke about Ayo being an Irish queen, but… they really teased us with this.

A source then confirmed to People that they’re “just friends” for now. Rude.

Devastatingly, we don’t know exactly what her relationship status is. Girl could still be with Colin, she could be secretly moving on to Paul, she could definitely be single, or… she could be striking up a romance with her The Bear costar, Jeremy Allen White. Their chemistry is obviously off the charts, and Ayo gushed about their connection to Vanity Fair in May.
