On Good Friday in 2017, Barry met Shóna at a pub, where she was working as a waitress. He fell hard for her and opened up about their relationship during a 2019 appearance on the Irish TV show, Livin’ With Lucy. “I’d be lost without her,” the actor said. “I’d be down on myself and she’d pick me right up and remind me what I’m doing. She’s made me a man. She’s the girl I want to be with for the rest of my life.” Famous last words.
