Apparently, Raya is the place to find true love, folks! At least, the elite celeb dating app worked out wonderfully for Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski, who just announced their engagement. The news is exciting but hardly shocking, considering these two have been madly in love for seven years now. Right after their first date, Finneas wrote his love song, “Claudia,” and sent it to her. (A bold, but romantic move.) The YouTuber and actress has continued to be his muse — she also inspired Finneas’ 2022 track, “Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa.”
In Finneas’ 2023 Instagram post celebrating their fifth anniversary, he called Claudia his “absolute dream girl” and said the last five years were the best of his life.

How Did Finneas Propose To Claudia?
In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared photos and videos from the proposal. Finneas took Claudia to a beautiful hill with mountain views (they got there via helicopter, of course) and he popped the question at sunset. The engagement dump includes a clip Finneas proposing, a few shots of the couple kissing, a few selfies, and a close-up of the ring. Their caption read, “forever and ever 9.22.”
Several celebs, including Renée Rapp, Dove Cameron, Addison Rae, and Gracie Abrams were quick to share their congratulations in the comments.
Claudia Sulewski Ring Details
Claudia and Finneas haven’t shared ring details yet, but per the photos, Finneas proposed to Claudia with a running, cushion-cut diamond ring. The ring features a silver band and a giant rectangular-shaped diamond, and it looks gorgeous on her!
If Finneas’ IG captions are any indication, his vows are gonna be phenomenal. On their fourth anniversary in 2022, the musician wrote: “You’d have to scour the globe to try to find someone equally as talented, creative and hard working as you are, my love.”
“Then you’d have to do it a second time to try to find someone as kind, thoughtful and generous.
