If you aren’t concerningly addicted to Ginny & Georgia, you don’t have taste. No ifs, ands, or buts, sorry! Dramatic teens in a small town, an unhinged southern belle murderer, a best friend’s brother love story, a stressful arrest cliffhanger… Literally, what’s not to like? It’s like Gilmore Girls but 100x more interesting and chaotic. Ever since season 2 ended seemingly decades ago, I’ve been impatiently awaiting season 3. Thank god the series was renewed for another season and we finally have a release date! If you’re like me and understand that this series is high art, I got you: Here’s everything to know about Ginny & Georgia season 3, including the release date, cast, and plot details.

Ginny & Georgia Season 3: Release Date, Plot, Cast

Season 3 is coming to Netflix on June 5, 2025!! I’m not counting down the days or anything. The third season began production in Toronto in April 2024 and wrapped the following August. “The fans have been so patient,” creator and executive producer Sarah Lampert told Tudum. “I cannot wait for them to see Season 3.” We also can’t wait, Sarah.

Obviously, Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey are returning to play the titular characters, Ginny and Georgia, respectively. Diesel La Torraca will also be back to play Ginny’s brother Austin, Felix Mallard’s returning as Ginny’s love interest Marcus, and Sara Waisglass is returning to play Max, Ginny’s sometimes-friend. Other returning cast members include: Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Scott Porter (Mayor Paul Randolph), Raymond Ablack (Joe), Katie Douglas (Abby), Chelsea Clark (Norah), Nathan Mitchell (Zion), and Silver (Katelyn Wells).

There will also be new cast members this season! Ty Doran is joining to play Wolfe, a “laid-back guy” in Ginny’s poetry class, and Noah Lamanna will play Tris, a skateboarder who’s friends with Marcus and Silver.

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Plot Details

You may recall that the chaotic season 2 finale ended with Georgia getting arrested at her own wedding — that is, after she killed Cynthia’s ill husband Tom by suffocating him with a pillow. (That wildly misguided plan was supposedly an effort to minimize his and his family’s pain. The queen needs serious help.) We saw her being driven away in a cop car, and season 3 will pick up there, where we left off.

In a season 3 Instagram teaser, there’s a photo of Georgia behind bars and a photo of Ginny and Austin sitting in court, looking scared. “We ended Season 2 with Georgia arrested for murder, ruining her fairy-tale wedding and leaving the fate of the Miller family hanging in the balance,” the show creator told Tudum. “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite as hard as it will in Season 3.” She teased that this season will throw “new hurdles, new relationships, and new challenges” at Ginny and Georgia “in a way we haven’t seen before on the show.” I. Am. Ready.
