If TikToker Cia Pia is correct, Hailey and Justin are following in the footsteps of other A-listers (looking at you, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin) and naming their kid after a fruit — a plum, to be exact. Because God forbid a nepo baby is named Steve, Sarah, or anything that’s actually a real name. No, the name has to be eccentric, kind of questionable, but just cute enough that fans embrace it… Plum Bieber really does fit the bill.

This theory started with the very observant TikToker, Cia Pia. First, Cia noticed that an Instagram account for @plumbieber had been created in December 2023 — right around the time Hailey reportedly got pregnant. “Knowing celebrities, they always have their children’s Instagram handles on lock because they don’t want people creating profiles and then profiting off of them,” the influencer pointed out.

Hailey then posted an Insta dump in July that includes a photo of a plum, so Cia decided to test out her theory. She commented “Plum Bieber” and took a screenshot, just in case she ended up being correct about the name. Cia says the comment was “was more of a joke than anything.” But when she revisited the post, her comment had been deleted, and the Plum Bieber Instagram profile has also been deleted. Naturally, lots of fans are now convinced that the Plum theory is correct and the Biebers were trying to keep the name a secret.

Not to mention, Hailey was apparently the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker when she was younger, so that could’ve inspired the idea. I love social media detectives.

When Will Hailey Bieber Have Her Baby?

According to TMZ, Hailey was about six months pregnant when she announced the baby news with her retro-looking vow renewal video in May, so Plum (or whatever their name is) is expected to arrive very soon now, perhaps later this month or in September.
