Nobody does it like a good TV doctor. There’s just something about the perfect mix of their camera-ready good looks and the confidence they have as they literally hold people’s lives in the palms of their hands. Sure, those are fictional people, but still… It’s undeniable; TV doctors are hot.

Quick question: Why are my real-life doctors never as hot? It’s so weird, but whenever I go to urgent care, I never see doctors who used to be underwear models (a real Grey’s Anatomy storyline!) or doctors having heated exchanged overflowing with sexual tension in the elevator (basically every Grey’s Anatomy storyline ever). At least TV doctors are always available for house calls. While I wouldn’t recommend taking medical advice from TV doctors from the comfort of your home, I would recommend watching them and enjoying all their aesthetic appeal. Yep, we’re gonna get really basic and simply ogle some hot TV doctors.

So, paging all medical show fans, and anyone who just likes looking at beautiful people. We’re gonna settle in with this list of the hottest TV doctors. And remember, no need to call a doctor if you your temperature goes up or your heart starts racing… we’ve got plenty of doctors who can help out right here.

The Hottest TV Doctors Of All Time

Dr. Jackson Avery From Grey’s Anatomy

Jesse Williams plays the Grey’s Anatomy surgeon whose piercing blue eyes are enough to give anyone life.

Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan From Grey’s Anatomy

In Grey’s Anatomy‘s heyday, there was a big debate over whether you were more into McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey’s Dr. Derek Shepherd) or McSteamy (Eric Dane’s Dr. Mark Sloane). Now, don’t get me wrong, I love McDreamy as much as the next girl, but it’s hard to argue with the barely-there towel from a very early McSteamy’s scene.

Dr. Samuel Bennett From Private Practice

Private Practice was a spinoff series of Grey’s, and it was never as popular as the OG series, but it did have Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett, so that’s a win.

Dr. Callie Torres From Grey’s Anatomy

Pretty much everyone on Grey’s Anatomy is hot, so of course this list is gonna be full of doctors from the show. Callie, played by Sara Ramirez, earns her spot on this list thanks to her confidence and the fact that she’s one of the most gorgeous people ever.

Dr. Jack Shepherd From Lost

Before Matthew Fox’s character Jack got stranded on the island, he was doctor in the real world. Lost may not be set in a hospital, but I say this one still counts.

Dr. Gregory House From House

Dr. House, played by Hugh Laurie, is hot if you’re into that cocky, talks-down-to-you, thinks-he-knows-everything-and-he-actually-does kind of guy. If you’re into that, some people might say you should go to therapy. I say, just watch House.

Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley From House

Before she became a movie star and a director herself, Olivia Wilde was lucky Thirteen on House, giving complicated bi girls everywhere the representation they deserve.

Dr. Kai Bartley From Grey’s Anatomy

E.R. Fightmaster’s character Dr. Kai Bartley was so hot, they made Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) reassess her sexuality and her life completely. That’s some powerful hotness.

Dr. Conrad Hawkins From The Resident

Real ones fell in love with Matt Czuchry when he played Logan on Gilmore Girls. Then the even realer ones followed him to his TV doctor role on The Resident.

Dr. Mindy Lahiri From The Mindy Project

Dr. Mindy Lahiri, played by series creator Mindy Kaling, is the ultimate rom-com queen. And there’s nothing hotter than a rom-com girlie who knows she wants love and goes after it.

Dr. Frank Langdon From The Pitt

He may have some questionable morals, but there’s no denying the fact that Patrick Ball’s Dr. Langdon is really hot.

Dr. John Carter From ER

Today Noah Wyle is known as Dr. Robby on The Pitt, but he got his start as a young hot TV doctor on ER.
