A Relationship Update On James Kennedy And Ally Lewber Following His Arrest

It’s been a rocky week for James Kennedy, who was arrested on December 10 under accusations of domestic violence. Though James has yet to publicly address the controversy, the police report, which leaked onto the internet over the weekend has led outsiders to believe Ally Lewber was the female victim involved. This is because the report stated in writing that “the woman’s boyfriend” (meaning James) “picked her up and threw her to the ground.” The only woman that the public is aware of who would refer to James as her boyfriend would be Ally Lewber. Though James has stayed quiet about the shocking situation, Ally spoke out via Instagram over the weekend, essentially confirming she is somehow involved in the situation. Naturally, fans keeping up with the news are wondering if Ally and James have broken up after his domestic violence arrest. Here’s the update.

So far, Ally and James have not publicly ended their relationship. Ally has shared a statement solely about herself in response to the arrest. On December 14, 2024, Ally thanked “everyone who has reached out with love and support” while “checking in on” her. She confirmed she is “okay and taking the time [she] need[s] right now” though she “deeply appreciate[s] all the kindness and respect for [her] privacy during this time.” This statement has led fans to believe that this is Ally’s way alleging she is the female victim involved in the altercation instigated by James Kennedy, which led to his arrest.

James has yet to release a statement about his relationship or the arrest. He instead performed a DJ set over the weekend in Milwaukee. Sources alleging to be close to the DJ claim that James will continue to perform uninterrupted through the new year despite the legal shake-up. So, if the couple has broken up, they have yet to share that update with the public. Ally and James met in 2022 at a live show for Tom Sandoval’s cover band (The Most Extras). Since getting together, they have bought a home in Burbank where the alleged incident occurred after Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party. They also have been taking care of James’ dog, Graham, which came from his previous relationship with Rachel Leviss. James was engaged to Rachel, whom he had been dating since 2016, until they broke up in October 2021.
