Justin Baldoni’s Man Enough cohost, Liz Plank, is officially ditching the podcast following Blake Lively’s legal complaint against Justin. As you’ve probably heard by now, Blake is accusing Justin, her It Ends With Us director and costar, of sexual harassment and helping launch a smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation. (In a statement to People, Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the allegations “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”) Ironically, Justin’s entire brand is being a ~heroic male feminist and ally~, and his Man Enough podcast “explores what it means to be a man today and how rigid gender roles have affected all people,” per the website.

Justin and Liz, who’s a feminist author and journalist, cohosted the podcast with Jamey Heath, the Wayfarer Studios CEO who’s also listed in Blake’s complaint. Since 2021, the podcast hosts have discussed masculinity and feminism on the show, and they’ve had on countless celebrity guests, including Shawn Mendes, FKA Twigs, and Drake Bell.

In addition to announcing her departure from the show, Liz Plank seemingly shared her thoughts on Blake Lively’s allegations against Justin Baldoni.

Justin Baldoni’s Podcast Cohost, Liz Plank, Is Leaving Man Enough

On December 24, Liz shared on Instagram that her representatives have informed Wayfarer that she will “no longer be cohosting” Man Enough. “Thank you for trusting me with your hearts and stories, for holding space for mine, and for making this show what it was,” she wrote to her followers and fans of the podcast. “Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being by my side for the last four years. We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it.”

The author added that she will have “more to share soon as I continue to process everything that has happened.” Although Liz didn’t explicitly state that her decision was based on Blake’s complaint, she did make this announcement just a few days after the New York Times report. She noted that she will “continue to support everyone who calls out injustice and holds the people standing in their way accountable,” seemingly referencing Blake’s allegations.

Liz also appeared to allude to the complaint about Justin in an emotional December 21 Instagram dump and caption. In the first slide, there’s a photo of Liz with text that reads, “Your toxic trait is that you believed in humanity.” In other slides in the carousel, Liz wrote, “Terrible men aren’t entitled to our money and attention” and “You are here to risk your heart.”

She addressed concerned fans in her caption. “As you probably know by now, this year brought some incredible highs and some deeply challenging lows, and plot twists I never saw coming,” she wrote. “I have to say the hardest part of losing anything I’ve poured my heart into is that it means losing a connection to you.” Liz shared that rather than “focusing on projects or situations that I cannot control,” she’s prioritizing her substack, Airplane Mode. She invited her followers to subscribe.

I’m guessing it’s the end of the Man Enough era, but ya never know… Justin and Jamey might just have the audacity to continue the podcast themselves or with a new woman cohost.
