Well, Lindsay Hubbard certainly celebrated more than Independence Day and 100 years of the Caesar Salad this July 4. The Summer House star is pregnant?! I almost passed out when I saw her Instagram announcement yesterday. It was supposed to be a chill day off to honor the godly combination of croutons, cheese, and Caesar dressing (and also America, I guess), but no. Lindsay had to hit us with the biggest news of the year since Charli and Lorde worked it out on the remix.

Lindsay Hubbard Just Announced That She’s Pregnant

Lindsay took to Instagram to share the exciting news alongside photos of her pregnant belly and positive Clearblue pregnancy test. (Because what is a pregnancy without a brand partnership!) “Trigger warning,” she wrote in her caption, “This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” Ahhhh.

“I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫” Lindsay continued. “The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier.” Yess, get that bag, queen. She added, “My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”

I am also excited for her and her boyfriend to welcome their little #HubbCub, but respectfully, who the fuck is this boyfriend?

Who Is Lindsay Hubbard’s Baby Daddy?

According to Page Six, Lindsay’s baby daddy is Dr. Turner Kufe, the Vice President of Research and Investments at Royal Pharma. Apparently, Dr. Kufe (what a name) used to work at J.P. Morgan, and he became a doctor at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2017 after graduating from Bowdoin College with a degree in biochemistry in 2011. I don’t think he’s accomplished enough. Sadly for us, he prefers to stay out of the public eye.

He and Lindsay were an item years ago, and they reconnected back in December 2023, four months after her split from Carl. During a May appearance on the Bitch Bible podcast, she shared: “He’s wonderful. I actually met him and went out with him three and a half years ago. Some of my friends call it a boomerang where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right, and then they come back around, so that’s basically what happened.”

She explained that although they did initially “hit it off,” the timing wasn’t quite right. Dr. Kufe was busy navigating his career, and she was in a “weird place” at that point.

“He reached out in mid-December, and I was like, ‘Hm, he made me wait three years, I’m gonna make him wait a month,'” Lindsay said on the show. She finally replied in January and agreed to coffee. The Summer House star recalled, “We wound up at lunch, and it felt like that lunch we went on was almost like catching up on the last three years of our lives.”

Lindsay told People that the pregnancy was unplanned. “We had some honest conversations and it just felt so right for both of us,” she said. “We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him.”

According to Lindsay, Dr. Kufe is “excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with [her].” Awww. Love this for her!
