Back in 2021, The Mirror reported that Nicola and actor Laurie Kynaston were dating. Nicola and Laurie worked together on my other favorite show, Derry Girls. Supposedly, they split because of their busy acting schedules, blah blah blah. The actress has not publicly commented on that rumored relationship.

Yeah, obviously we’ve been wondering if there’s something going on between Luke and Nicola because that on-screen chemistry comes a little too naturally. At the New York City Bridgerton season 3 premiere, Nicola shut down the romance rumors, which was rude of her. “We think it’s really sweet,” she told Extra. “I think because we truly love each other… It’s so nice having such a lovely friend that I can do all this with.” A friend, sure.

She also got real about her intimate scenes with Luke this season. “It’s crazy because I felt like those scenes would be terrifying to watch back, and they were initially… But then when I watched them, I went, ‘No, they’re everything we wanted them to be and more,'” Nicola reflected. She called them “really romantic” and “sexy.” What I’m hearing is: she ships herself with Luke too.
