According to TMZ, Sydney and Scooter are in a “casual” situationship. “Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what women in their 20’s do — she’s dating,” a source told the outlet.

Apparently, the actress and the manager met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Italy wedding back in June. (Sigh.) They must of really hit it off there. Yes, there’s a 17-year age gap here, but Sydney’s ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, was also in his 40s. Seems like she’s just a fan of older dudes.

Sydney was with her ex Jonathan for about seven years, which is also just about as long as she’s been in the public eye. In 2018, Sydney was just becoming famous for her roles in the Netflix series Everything Sucks and Sharp Objects. And in September 2018, she was first spotted with Jonathan at an Emmys party. Sydney was 20 and Jonathan was 34 when they met, so he seems to have been her only major adult relationship, or at least the only one that was public.

Sydney and Jonathan got engaged in 2022, but by 2025, she broke things off because she “didn’t feel right” in the relationship. “She’s not ready to settle down,” a source told PEOPLE. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”

In 2022, Sydney told Cosmopolitan that she doesn’t date “people in the spotlight.” She explained, “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest.
