LeBron’s Barbie is a Kenbassador, which means he’s styled like the real LBJ with a “Ken Tall” body type (lol, I can’t wait for the first Ken Short King to make history next). Mini LeBron rocks a letterman jacket, snapback, Lebron James Family Foundation tee, and Nikes. Plus, it even comes with sunglasses, headphones (that resemble his favorite Beats), and a demure amount of bling. The doll cannot stand on its own, so it comes with a Barbie stand to display the collectible.
Why is LeBron becoming a Barbie?
LeBron’s creation by Mattel is the first doll of many to come in the Barbie Signature Kenbassadors Collection, which “celebrates influential Ken figures who are creating positive change and contributing to a better world for all.” Mattel is starting this series by shouting out the Olympic athlete for his work as “an activist, philanthropist, and champion for others both on and off the court,” as well as being “a changemaker and tastemaker,” duh!
The doll is an iconic step by Mattel to further its mission of celebrating Black Barbies. Yes, POC kiddos and boys should get to see themselves as dolls, too!

The LeBron James Ken Doll will become available online at Mattel, Target, Amazon, and Walmart. The doll will also be available for purchase IRL at select Target stores.
