In case you’re new here: Last year, the world was rocked off its axis by Scandoval, where it was revealed that Tom Sandoval had been smooshing around behind his girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back. Oh, did I mention that it was with her BEST FRIEND RACHEL? Yeah, it still stings. But has he recovered? Is Tom Sandoval single in 2024?

Safe to say, Tom and Ariana’s relationship ended immediately, but in the months since, we’ve been left wondering what happened to Rachel and Tom, or if he found a new victim girlfriend.

Are Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss Still Together?

Apparently, Tom and Rachel were more than just a naughty little secret; they were in love. Well, as much in love as you can be when you’re sneaking a shag while your girlfriend is asleep in the room next door.

When Scandoval was first revealed, Tom and Rachel were filmed embracing and discussing their relationship. Before Rachel joined the reunion, Tom even coached his girlfriend on what to say — repeat after me, we are not psychopaths.

Tom claims he tried to make the relationship work. In a December episode of the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast, he said, “I fought so hard for Rachel. I stopped drinking. I stopped smoking cigarettes because she went away to a facility. I’m like, ‘She can’t drink, she can’t smoke. I’m gonna quit.'”

He further said he “was there in any way that she needed” before Rachel up and moved to Arizona for a fresh start. I guess she didn’t want a relationship with someone who had been cheating on his girlfriend of nine years with her best friend, huh.

“We were best friends,” Tom complained. “It’s heartbreaking to go through. I was fully in love with her. She’s not just some hot girl. I was a model for 15 years, it’s deeper than that.”

Well, Rachel not only blocked her bestie Tom on Instagram, but shared a screenshot of it with a pink and white GIF reading “ok bye!”

This might be the most I’ve respected her so far.

Is Tom Sandoval Single Now? Who Is He Dating?

Well, in a shocking turn of events, Tom Sandoval is still single.

In an interview with Extra at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, he confirmed, “I am single, yes.”

Apparently, Tom described dating to be “awkward,” which is probably why he used his ex’s contact list for this purpose in the past.

“It’s just weird,” he elaborated. “It feels like a job interview, I don’t usually like to go on dates unless I know them already. I would rather hang out with them and like their friends, see who they surround themselves with … see how they act when they get drunk, then later go out on dates.”

He really makes it too easy for us, doesn’t he? Tom definitely likes to check if he likes someone’s friends first, as a sort of two-for-one deal. Until he finds a friend group worth ticking off multiple boxes, he’ll stay single.
