If anyone was going to me make even consider stomping through the desert in questionable looks to drink overpriced drinks and wait an hour in a porta-potty line, it would be Lady Gaga. With “Die In Your Arms” already smashing Spotify records, her little monsters have been foaming at the mouth for LG7, which will apparently be performed for the first time live at the Coachella Main Stage. The music festival that temporarily possess otherwise law-abiding citizens to believe flower crowns and fringe shorts are totally normal is back, and the lineup is definitely interesting. I would summarize the weekends’ top performers as v Gaga, brat, grunge, ass-tastic and heavy on the 2000s nostalgia. Kind of impressive to do all at once? Here’s a guide on how to get the best deal on Coachella tickets.

The official presale begins November 22, 2024 at Coachella.com.
You needed to register (like now, betch) for access to buy passes in the pre-sale. Coachella recommends aiming for weekend 2 to get a better chance at grabbing tickets. Prices will vary by weekend and by tier, but when you buy four GA passes instead of one, you get $10 off each pass. Weekend one is starting off at $599 while weekend two is $549 for a single pass.
No, there is no value difference in the GA pass “tiers.” It’s just the festival’s way of noting the price on the GA passes have gone up. It will continually go up the longer you wait to buy, with coinciding tiers one, two, and three. If you want to pay for a premium experience, you can opt for a VIP pass starting at $1,399 for weekend one and $1,199 for weekend two.
Lady Gaga is the headliner for the Friday nights of the Coachella weekends, scheduled for April 11 and April 18, 2025. I haven’t been more excited to see the theatrics an artist brings to the stage since Beyoncé’s historic Homecoming performance. Other artists on Friday include Missy Elliott, LISA (who just slayed it at the VMAs), FKA Twigs, Mustard (who if you’re an elder like me you may recognize as DJ Mustard), GloRilla (eugh, eugh hive, rise), and, OMFG, Three 6 Mafia?!?!?
Green Day is the headliner Saturday, April 12 and April 19 at Coachella in 2025. (If you’re into the emo, you’ll definitely want to hit Jimmy Eat World, who is also performing that day.) Charli XCX, Anitta, Clairo, Above & Beyond, T-Pain, Japanese Breakfast and so many more will be singing on the grounds on day 2.
On April 13 and April 20, Post Malone will perform for the brave souls who can last three days at a music festival. He’ll be accompanied on Sunday by Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, JENNIE, Shaboozey, Ty Dolla $ign, and The Beaches.
Travis Scott nabbed the featured Saturday night slot for both weekends that No Doubt had in 2024. Coachella announced his appearance under the low-key ominous distinction “Travis Scott Designs the Desert.” As long as the proper security measures have been put in place, I’m sure his fans will be thrilled.
