There’s something truly diabolical about getting to vote on other people’s love lives. Having a say in who gets together and who breaks up? I mean, that’s some true god-level power. And while I’d for sure love to cast some ballots and offer my input on the love lives of a few people I know in real life, that isn’t quite socially acceptable. But, luckily, I can vote to my little heart’s content on the love lives of people on TV. Thank you, Love Island voting!

It’s been a wild ride so far in Love Island: USA season 7. Since Cierra Ortega’s dramatic elimination from the Villa because of a “personal situation,” AKA some alleged racist comments she made on social media, there’s been some necessary reshuffling. And now with only a few episodes left until the Love Island: USA season 7 finale on July 13, the stakes are higher than ever for the remaining Islanders vying for coupledom and $100,000. But the good news — at least good news for us diabolical viewers who like to be puppet masters in other people’s lives — is that there’s still time to have a say and vote to help determine this season’s outcome. Here’s what you need to know about how to vote during Love Island season 7.

What app do you use to vote for Love Island?

The official Love Island: USA app is available on the App Store or Google Play Store, and it’s your one-stop shop for all Love Island info and access, including voting. All you have to do is set up an account on the app, and it lets you cast your ballot when voting opens up.

When does voting happen on Love Island?

Unlike some other reality shows, Love Island doesn’t have a fixed voting schedule. The villa and its inhabitants are vehicles for chaos, so why wouldn’t the voting system follow suit? Voting opens up at the end of certain episodes, so audiences just have to watch live to find out when it’s time to chime in. New episodes air every night except Wednesday on Peacock at 9pm ET.

What is the voting window for Love Island?

For episodes when there is voting, there’s also a limited amount of time to cast your ballot. Typically, voting begins when the episode ends, around 10pm ET. From there, it usually lasts about two hours, so you have to make your decisions about the Islanders’ fates pretty quickly.
