Thank Fucking God, Kate Middleton Was Just Spotted For The First Time

If you’ve been worrying about Kate Middleton for the past month, you’re not alone. The Princess of Wales was recently in the hospital for an abdominal surgery, and now, she’s taking some time off to lay low and rest. It’s safe to say that the royal family member won’t be making public appearances at events in the very near future. Kate notably did not attend the 2024 BAFTAs with Prince William, so she’s absent from the viral meme photo of him and Ayo Edebiri. (I’m sure she’s super devastated about missing out on that one.)

As we giggle at the memes featuring her husband, we’re also thinking of the princess and wishing her well, of course. Girlies around the world are wondering: Is Kate Midddleton okay? Fortunately, it seems like she’s on the road to recovery. On March 4, in photos obtained by TMZ, Princess Kate is alive and well following her abdominal surgery and subsequent disappearance from the public eye over the past few months. Naturally, she’s wearing chic as fuck sunglasses.

Kate Middleton Had Abdominal Surgery

In a January 17 statement, Kensington Palace announced that Kate had a “planned abdominal surgery” at The London Clinic. Although there aren’t a lot of details about the specific health issue, it was reportedly non-cancerous.

The statement continued, “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

Kate Middleton Was Recently Discharged From The Hospital

In another statement on January 29, the Palace revealed that Kate had been discharged from the hospital following her surgery. “The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery,” they said, adding, “She is making good progress.” (Their family home, Adelaide Cottage, is on the Windsor Castle estate, so yeah, we’re neighbors.) The statement continued with a thank you to those at The London Clinic as well as supporters “from around the world.” I knew my advanced manifestation techniques were helping her recover.

Prince William Is Supporting Kate Middleton

Prince William also paused his public duties for a while in order to be there for his wife and help care for their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. He returned to work at the end of the first week of February. What does “work” mean for Prince William, you’re wondering?
