West Wilson is Bravo’s official new “good guy,” at least according to the New York Times. But from where I’m sitting, the “breakout star of Summer House” has actually been displaying some very pink flag bad boy behavior in the final few episodes of season eight. Okay, sure, it was v cute watching him and Ciara have an equestrian moment that was actually probably really hard to film while nursing a Loverboy hangover. But I’ve keeping one eye open on the newly employed sports bro with a heart of gold ever since he told his crush’s best friend (Paige) that he was open to other women since he and Ciara weren’t official when the only reason they aren’t official is that West won’t commit. Ciara called Jesse a “trash bag” because he openly is willing to juggle multiple women until he finds the one, but from the viewers’ POV it looks like West has the same mindset, he’s just smart enough to be a little more quiet about it. By the finale, it seemed like West and Ciara had grown tired of going in circles about how into each other they are while remaining unable to DTR. Now that another summer approaches we simply must know: is West Wilson single now?
Yes feels like the obvious answer. Ciara did visit West’s family in Missouri, but if he had been seriously going steady with Ciara for almost a year now, the pair would have been spotted together at least once regardless of any covert efforts to keep their relationship status under wraps for the sake of the show. West was recently in California for a wedding around the Memorial Day 2024 holiday (wearing a silk suit that felt like more Fashion Nova Fit than fashionable, if you ask me, but I digress). Unless he’s the sneakiest Bravoleb in the world who has Summer House confused with The Bachelor, West would surely openly invite any girl (Ciara or otherwise) that he was in a real relationship with to be his plus one to a wedding, right? Before that, West has given a few wishy-washy answers to reporters about his relationship status and where he stands with Ciara, which initially came off as coy. After watching Ciara, a self-described ice queen, shed actual tears in the reunion preview, it seems like things are at best things complicated between the pair which means West Wilson is still technically on the market.
