Jennifer Garner is an overall gem of a human. I only want good things for her, and in turn, for her family, as well. Ben Affleck is also… fine. During their 13-year marriage, which lasted from 2005 to 2018, Jen and Ben welcomed three children — Violet, Fin, and Samuel. Their family expanded when Ben married Jennifer Lopez in 2022, and her and ex-husband Marc Anthony’s twins, Emme and Max Muñiz, joined the mix.
Ben and Jen Garner’s relationship was as high-profile as they come — not even including the J.Lo of it all — but their kids have been able to live a somewhat normal life out of the spotlight. Violet is the oldest child of Ben and Jen Garner, and she graduated high school in May 2024.

It has not been publicly announced where she’s attending college, but that is likely her next step since Jen said Violet was fully immersed in the college admission process back in November 2023.
“I can see the stress — even though the excitement and stress go hand in hand. But she’s handling it like a champ and she’s totally in charge,” the actress said at the time. “I’m not having to say, ‘Are you doing this, are you doing this?’ She’s a self-starter. And I’m just proud of her no matter what.”
I can’t imagine any college parties stacking up to the events Violet has already attended in her life, like the White House State Dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s iconic White Party.
Their eldest has always been called Jen’s mini-me because … well, look at her. She was born on December 1, 2005, in Los Angeles.

At 15, Ben and Jen Garner’s middle child is beginning to speak out for themselves. Although it has not been publicly addressed by their parents, the teen announced their new name while speaking at their maternal grandfather’s memorial service in March 2024.
“Hello, my name is Fin Affleck,” they said on stage during the service, which was live-streamed on the Charleston, West Virginia, church’s Facebook page. Days prior, the middle child was photographed hugging their mom at a bus stop and the name Fin was embroidered on their backpack.
Fin seems to be a typical teen and frequently hangs out with their step-sibling Emme. The pair have been photographed listening to music, laughing, and chatting.
Jen gave birth to her second child on January 6, 2009, in Los Angeles.

Samuel is Ben and Jen Garner’s youngest child, and he seems to share a love of sports with his dad. The father and son have been seen attending multiple sporting events across the country, and Ben has joked about trying to make his Los Angeles-born son into a Boston sports fan.
In 2019, Ben said it was a “dream” to coach Samuel’s little league baseball team, and four years later, he laughed about frequently embarrassing himself at his son’s basketball games by getting too rowdy in the stands.
Samuel was born on February 27, 2012, in Los Angeles.

Emme is just a teenager, but they are proving to already have a lot of talent. Fans watched Emme perform at Super Bowl LIV with her mother, J.Lo, and at the 2022 Blue Diamon Gala in Los Angeles, where J.Lo used gender neutral pronouns while referring to Emme.
Emme is balancing living a private life while getting their feet wet in the entertainment industry. In addition to performances with J.Lo, Emme wrote the 2020 picture book Lord Help Me: Inspiring Prayers for Every Day.
J.Lo and ex-husband Marc Anthony welcomed Emme on February 22, 2008, in Manhasset, Long Island, New York.
The other half of J.Lo and Marc’s twins, Max, lives a much more private life than Emme.

He seems to be socially conscious, as J.Lo said he urged her and her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez to attend a 2020 Black Lives Matter protest after feeling deeply affected by George Floyd’s murder. During a 2019 AMA on YouTube, J.Lo said her favorite thing about Max was his “big heart.”
