The people have spoken, and Challengers is officially the best movie of the year. Possibly the best movie of the century. You really can’t outdo the inspired combo of a cunty soundtrack, the three hottest actors alive, and the alluring and homewrecking villain that is Tashi Duncan. We’ve all known since 2014 that supermodel, dancer, singer, actor, and now athlete Zendaya Coleman is Thee It Girl of our time. Now, it’s time to give it up for the new It Boys on the block: Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor. Put some respect on their names. Give them Oscars. I expect to see Tashi’s bitches as main characters in a million more projects.
The two hours and 11 minutes of tennis matches and love triangle drama is a lot to process — especially that stressful-ass ending.
