Every time I hear the annoying catchphrase “we all have the same 24 hours in a day as Beyoncé” as misguided encouragement to shoot for the stars, I have to actively stop myself from rolling my eyes. After discovering TikTok pioneer woman slash model Nara Smith, I’m certain some of us are working off of a different clock. I avoided the app’s insistent pushes of Nara and her equally gorgeous husband Lucky Blue (yes that is his government name) on my FYP for as long as I could, but with a recent resurgence of her seemingly impossible “what I eat in a day” content I finally gave in and, to put it lightly, I am floored. As we’ll discuss below, Nara has caught some attention for her elaborate homemade meals from scratch (like “making the barbecue sauce and mozzarella cheese in a BBQ chicken pizza from scratch”-type of homemade) and has brilliantly capitalized off trolls’ disbelief in her comments.

Nara’s calm tone toes the line between comfort creator and the beginning of a scene straight out of Get Out and for that reason it’s hard not to get lost on her page all day. Here’s everything we’ve learned about Nara’s rise to internet stardom that’s putting my childhood Hamburger Helper dinners to shame.

Nara discovered apples and cinnamon

This is the original video that got the girls in a tizzy, and honestly, it’s me, I’m girls. The way she deadpans to camera about her recent discovery of this oh so special snack that is quite literally one of the most popular flavor combos of all time felt like it had to be a joke or pregnancy brain or both. And yes I did slice up a red delicious immediately after watching, but that’s neither here nor there.

Nara’s husband’s ex-partner is dating a Jonas Brother

Nara is ridiculously beautiful as is her model husband Lucky Blue Smith, who looks and dresses just as much like a 1920s fever dream as his name sounds. (Like, why do I feel like if you accidentally walked in on Lucky Blue and Austin Butler having a conversation in dim lighting you’d assume you’d been sent back in time?) Together, the couple are a walking ad campaign (which they are, of course, currently doing for Calvin Klein) but the glitz and glamor doesn’t stop there.

Lucky Blue’s ex-wife and baby mama Stormi Bree — also a stupidly stunning model, in case you were worried — is allegedly dating newly single Joe Jonas, ex-husband of the Queen of the North. What do we have to do to get Andy and a camera down this very niche rabbit hole of a social group?

No one *really* knows how old Nara is or where she lives

A People story covering Nara’s 2020 wedding noted the newlywed was 24 at the time, but in recent videos from this year Nara has said she just turned 22 (not 28), so what is the truth? Fans were also shocked after much debate to discover that Nara’s family lives in Dallas, Texas because her content doesn’t make it obvious. I dare you to take a glance at her grid and not sing “This ain’t Texas.”

Nara makes everything from scratch. Seriously

From fresh butter every two weeks, to a five-hour peanut butter and jelly mission to keep her kiddos palettes’ satisfied, Nara makes everything — and I mean everything — from scratch. Yogurt? She’s curdled it. Pregnancy craving? Why not whip up a quick papaya and lime whipped cream over rooibos tea crêpes as a treat. At this point it seems like the overly elaborate culinary masterpieces have to be a bit, but it’s hard to tell based on her earnest replies to her haters if that’s actually the case. Either way, Nara Smith has the time more than any living, breathing woman I’ve ever come across but at least she’s not one of those wives who complain about their husbands online and then fight everyone in the comments calling him trash.
