In season 3 of the best show ever made, Ginny & Georgia, Ginny has a brand new love interest… and he’s no Marcus. That’s for sure! The new boy’s name is Wolfe, which is dumb AF, as Georgia points out several times. Ginny meets Wolfe in her out-of-town poetry class, where it quickly becomes clear that he’s quite poetically challenged. Not exactly Youth Poet Laureate material like herself. Still, Wolfe is friendly and asks Ginny out right when she desperately needs a distraction from the murder trial situation. At first, she gives a fake name, but when Wolfe eventually figures out who she is, he’s accepting, sweet, and supportive. I was a fan for a second there.

They end up going to a house party and fucking in the laundry room, which has a pretty major consequence: Ginny gets pregnant. And when she delivers this info to Wolfe, he has possibly the worst response imaginable. “That’s wild,” he says before ditching her without talking it through or offering any support whatsoever. (Fortunately, Marcus is there to support Ginny when she goes to get an abortion. King.)

If you recognize Ty, it’s probably because you’ve seen him in other series like Manifest (2021-23), American Crime (2016), All Night (2018), and Chicago Fire (2019). He’s also done a few voiceovers for the anime series Eternal Quon (2011). He’s 27 years old and was born on October 29, 1997, which makes him a Scorpio… a very important detail. Ty grew up in Houston but eventually moved to Chicago for school.

“My dad is an actor/director/teacher, so my career began when (as most kids do) I started to emulate my dad,” he told Flaunt Magazine in 2023. “I started acting when I was 8 in a high school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where I played the changeling child and also developed a strong love of people fighting over me.”

Ty is clearly thrilled to be a part of Ginny & Georgia season 3 (who wouldn’t be). He’s posted about the show several times on Instagram. When he shared the news of his casting in September 2024, he warned: “Get ready for some absolute shenanigans.” I think “shenanigans” truly is the perfect word to associate with Wolfe.

In February 2024, the actor posted a photo dump of his GF and shared that they moved in together. “This is a brag post,” he wrote in his caption. “Look at my girlfriend/new roommate and be jealous.
