The It Ends With Us drama has been dragging on for approximately 50,000 years now (it’s actually been eight months), but somehow, the updates just keep coming. And the latest one involves… possible Ryan Reynolds and Travis Kelce beef?
Let’s rewind for a sec. By now, I’m sure you’re aware that Blake Lively accused her It Ends With Us director and costar, Justin Baldoni, of sexual harassment and retaliation, and he responded by suing her for defamation. In Justin’s lawsuit, he included alleged texts where Blake seemingly compared herself to the Game of Thrones character, Khaleesi, and referred to Ryan and Taylor as her “dragons.” Justin appeared to accuse Blake of using Taylor and Ryan to pressure him into making script changes.
After that alleged text exchange came out, there were rumors that the complicated legal battle was affecting Taylor and Blake’s friendship. And now, there are rumors that the whole ordeal is affecting Ryan’s friendship with Taylor’s NFL star BF — fans recently noticed that Travis is no longer following the Deadpool & Wolverine actor on Instagram.
So, why did Travis Kelce unfollow Ryan Reynolds? And how did Ryan respond? Here’s a breakdown of the It Ends With Us-related drama.

Last week, internet sleuths discovered that The Guy On The Chiefs unfollowed Blake’s husband, but Ryan still follows Travis. The timing raised eyebrows, especially with ongoing rumors of tension between Blake and Taylor, and reports that Taylor might be subpoenaed in Blake and Justin Baldoni’s legal dispute. (A source notably told E! that the rumors about Blake and Taylor feuding are “not true.”) Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reported that Ryan’s friend, Hugh Jackman, might also be subpoenaed by Justin’s lawyers soon.
Travis hasn’t shared a statement about the unfollow, but per Page Six, it did have to do with Blake’s “messy legal nightmare.” Maybe the football player is just trying his best to stay out of the drama and the legal battle? Whatever the case, it seems like there might not be any Travis, Taylor, Ryan, and Blake double dates any time soon.

While greeting fans at Green Day’s May 1 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Ryan was repeatedly asked about what happened between him and Travis. Unsurprisingly, he totally ignored the photographer asking the question. Ryan didn’t even react with a facial expression — he just kept posing for selfies and signing autographs. TBH, I feel like he would just shut down the rumor if there wasn’t any truth to it… but that’s just me speculating.
I suppose we’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out.
