Ummm, why the fuck are the streets saying that Ariana Madix is leaving Love Island USA after season 7? As a wise woman (now champion woohooo) once screamed through tears, “WE DON’T WANNA DO THATTTT.” Frankly, the Bravo alum baddie and her iconic wardrobe are the only things that got me through this hellish season, and imagining a replacement host makes me sick to my stomach. Can I vote against this potential atrocity on the app?
For a while now, fans on TikTok have been theorizing that she’s leaving the show, and a recent segment of Aftersun added fuel to the fire. There was a montage of the season 7 stars giving Ariana sweet compliments… and it had farewell video vibes, for sure. “Miss goddess Barbie walking sun,” Amaya Papaya says in the clip. “You’re the definition of how a woman should carry herself… You keep on being the queen that you are.”
Nic adds that it’s “been a pleasure” getting to speak with Ariana when the cameras aren’t rolling. We can see Ariana crying as she watches the cast fangirl over her. So, is Ariana Madix actually leaving Love Island USA? Here’s a breakdown of the rumor and her response.
A fan posted the montage clip on TikTok with the caption, “The was definitely Love Island giving Ariana her farewell.. she really is gone after tomorrow.. Next season is going to feel so different.” Everyone completely lost their shit in the comments section (the whole universe is Ariana stans). Thank goodness Ariana chimed in!!
“Wow, they really cut out a lot lol,” she wrote. When another fan commented, “they could never replace u tbh,” Ariana set the record straight in a reply:”Thank you, I’m not leaving. I’ll see you guys really soon.” We can officially relax and rejoice, my friends! This queen will indeed be returning to Fiji for more disastrous situationship drama.

During that emotional Aftersun episode, Ariana reflected on why this season has been particularly challenging. “The islanders who were eliminated, there’s been a lot of stuff that’s just been crazy,” she said. “I just want them to know, and any islander who has also left the villa this point, I just want them all to know how much I genuinely really love them and appreciate them for putting themselves out there.” I love her so bad.
Love Island USA season 7 may be over, but Ariana’s returning to our screens very soon to host the second season of Love Island Games. Ariana’s replacing Maya Jama as the host, and the second season will premiere on September 16. If you’re unfamiliar, Love Island Games brings together fan-favorite former islanders from across the globe. Much like traditional Love Island, this competition series involves couple challenges, bombshells, dumping, and a $100,000 prize.
