In the latest Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni It Ends With Us saga update, there’s a new name involved: Isabela Ferrer. The actress, who plays young Lily in the movie, is now accusing Baldoni of harassment and inappropriate conduct after being subpoenaed in the ongoing case. According to Ferrer’s legal team, Baldoni’s production company tried to pressure her into giving up control of her legal response in exchange for covering her fees (something she’s contractually owed, BTW). She’s accusing Baldoni and his team of “manipulating” her to control her involvement in the case.
This latest update comes after nearly eight months of Blake and Justin’s never-ending legal battle — Blake first accused the director of harassment and retaliation back in December 2024, and he’s since denied the allegations and countersued for defamation. A trial is currently set for March 2026. So, how did another It Ends With Us actress get involved in this messy dispute? Why exactly is Isabela Ferrer now accusing Justin Baldoni of “bullying” and “harassing” her? Here are the details we have so far.
This Ferrer-Baldoni dispute all started when Lively’s legal team subpoenaed Ferrer in February, requesting communications between her and others involved in the case. Ferrer then reached out to Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, to have her legal fees covered like her contract allows. In response, the company allegedly asked her to “relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer” in exchange for that compensation. (If true, that’s shady AF.)

According to court docs, “From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer.” The actress’s attorneys claim that Baldoni filed a motion against her just to “harass” her after she didn’t agree to his team’s conditions.
Baldoni’s legal team filed the motion on August 12, arguing Ferrer had been unresponsive and difficult to reach. In their rebuttal, Ferrer’s lawyers accused the director of “engaging in bad faith tactics” with “the aim of harassing” the actress. They’re now asking the court to both deny his motion and impose sanctions.
Ferrer’s lawyers called Baldoni’s motion “yet another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress and to violate this Court’s policies on the publishing of non-party personally identifying information.” They added that she has “had to resist Baldoni’s inappropriate conduct in connection with her response to the Lively Subpoena” and has faced “personal threats and hateful statements” on social media since his motion was filed.
“Unfortunately, the motion is just the latest in a broader pattern of conduct by Baldoni to bully Ms. Ferrer,” her attorneys alleged. “While Ms. Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.”

Baldoni’s counsel responded in an August 18 letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman obtained by E!. “We write in response to Isabela Ferrer’s opposition to the Wayfarer Parties’ motion to serve her by alternative means,” they wrote. “The opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel … and irrelevant to whether Ms. Ferrer should be served via alternative means.”
The letter continued, “In July 2025, the Wayfarer Parties subpoenaed Ms. Ferrer for documents she either neglected to produce or were not requested by Ms. Lively’s subpoena.” Baldoni’s attorneys noted that “given the circumstances,” they are “willing to stipulate that none of the parties will use any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner.”
