Her Big Nomination Moment

JLaw was nominated in a tough category — Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy — alongside Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Natalie Portman (May December), Alma Pöysti (Fallen Leaves), Margot Robbie (Barbie) and Emma Stone (Poor Things).

When the camera panned to Jennifer as they announced her nomination, she very clearly said, “If I don’t win I’m leaving.” Icon behavior.

Supportive Friend Moment

Emma Stone ended up winning the Golden Globe, and honestly, you would’ve thought Jennifer herself took home the prize. She stood up and (literally) jumped up and down for her friend.

The two have been close for years after being introduced by mutual friend Woody Harrelson (totally casual). According to Jennifer, Emma texted her to connect and: “I replied, ‘F—k off!’ And we’ve been really good friends ever since.”

Emma, for her part, admitted feeling a bit of competition with Jennifer early in their careers because they were frequently up for the same parts.

“There was definitely a time early on when I was like ‘OH HEY MY EGO IS GOING NUTS SHE’S SO GREAT AND VIBRANT AND TALENTED I’M SCREWED I’LL NEVER WORK AGAIN GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD,” Emma wrote in an email to Vanity Fair. “Then I chilled the f—k out—and remembered we’re completely different and there is room for everyone, even if it’s an industry that doesn’t really seem to support that idea up front.”

No Bad Moment to Talk About Bravo

Jennifer gave a shout-out to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for having the “best finale” in reality TV history, and we always stan a fellow Bravo babe.

She even gave insight into her one-person watch party, saying, “I was stone-cold sober because I was starving for this event and I was jaw-dropped.”
