In his first Instagram post since he and Megan reportedly broke up, MGK shared two shirtless photos — one where he’s seemingly gazing at his reflection and one where he’s touching his hair and striking a ~candid~ model pose for the camera. “How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything,” he wrote in his caption. A fair point and a truly MGK-style response to the recent rumors about him and Megan.

While this caption could refer to a number of articles about their breakup, MGK shared this post the same day that a TMZ article titled “MEGAN FOX AND MGK DEAD SILENCE BETWEEN THEM …As Due Date Nears” came out. The article claimed that “things are not amicable” between MGK and Megan and that “the lines of communication are closed.” It cites multiple sources who are supposedly “familiar with the situation.” (Seems like MGK would disagree with that assessment.)

TMZ broke the story of MGK and Megan’s split back in December 2024. At the time, the outlet reported that the singer and actress parted ways over Thanksgiving while they were on a trip in Vail, Colorado. Per an anonymous source for the outlet, Megan discovered something “upsetting” on MGK’s phone that made her want to leave. The news was especially sad because the exes are expecting their first baby together — Megan shared the news in November 2024, and she’s expected to give birth in March 2025.

It’s notable that MGK’s still following Megan on Insta, so that line of communication isn’t closed at least… However, she’s not following anyone ’cause she’s cool like that. I’m wishing these two all the best as they prepare to welcome an iconic, goth nepo baby.
