Fans think Taylor and Dakota broke up because of Taylor’s recent cryptic social media posts. On September 22, the queen of the mormons posted a TikTok video of her wearing baggy sweatpants and dancing with tears in her eyes. “Not me slowly morphing into 2022 me,” she wrote in her caption. As we all know, 2022 was not the best time for her because of the soft-swinging scandal of it all. Taylor’s costars and frenemies (??) were quick to leave supportive comments. Mayci, the blonde Switzerland of the girl group, wrote an encouraging comment: “This new chapter will be better than ever! Lean on us, we got you babe.” Mikayla added, “Always here for you bb.”

The following day, Taylor posted another TikTok that could signal a split. She shared a clip of herself watching Secret Lives and wrote, “Too triggering to watch the show but I at least wanted to see my son’s birth.” Her MomTok pal, Demi, wrote in the comments, “freaking love you tay,” adding the heart hands emoji.

Not to mention, Taylor also recently posted a photo of her and her new baby on her Insta story and wrote, “Here’s to a new chapter of my life, I think [it’ll] be the most challenging, yet most rewarding.” How many different ways can one say “I’m single now” without actually saying “I’m single now”? I think this might be a new record.

On September 21, a TikToker named Emily Schwartz posted a video, theorizing about Taylor and Dakota’s possible split. She claimed, “A journalist never reveals her sources, but I will tell you this: They are broken up. Is it forever? I don’t know.” Emily also pointed to Taylor’s telling Insta Story about a “new chapter.” And who showed up in her comments section, you’re wondering? Dakota himself! “Stay tuned…” he teased.
