A Life Update On Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt’s Daughter Zahara

It’s been a tumultuous couple of years for A-list former couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The good news is their kids seem to be doing well throughout it all. Shiloh recently celebrated her 18th birthday and may have a budding dance career. Shiloh also reportedly filed paperwork to change her last name to Jolie (sans Pitt), in line with some of her other siblings. In fact, the third eldest, Zahara announced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie at a sorority event in 2023. This brings our attention to the shocking fact that Zahara is now in college (!!!). It seems like just yesterday that Zahara was introduced to the world in 2005 as the second Jolie-Pitt child to be adopted into the family, from Ethiopia, which remains a proud piece of her heritage (Zahara actually met Sahle-Work Zewde who is the first female president of her home country back in 2019). Zahara is now 19 years old. Zahara’s birthday is January 8, 2005. This makes her the third in age of the Jolie-Pitt children behind Maddox (22) and Pax (20). She is the older sister to 15-year-old Knox and Vivienne.

Zahara attended Spelman College as a freshman starting in August of 2023. Spelman is one of the most prominent fully-female historically black colleges in the United States. Spelman College is located in Atlanta, Georgia, taking the LA local across the country. At school, Zahara is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, which she pledged in November. The famous pink and green AKAs are the first female historically Greek society and an esteemed group to be a member of.

Zahara doesn’t appear to have any social media. The 19-year-old values her privacy but fans can keep up with her on red carpet appearances with her mom, Angelina Jolie, like the red carpets for Angelina’s movies such as Marvel’s The Eternals and Maleficent (in 2024, Angelina will break her years-long streak away from starring in movies with the reprisal of her role Master Tigress in the forthcoming Kung Fu Panda 4, and by taking on the titular role in Maria, a biopic about American-Greek opera singer Maria Callas). Zahara also launched a philanthropic jewelry line in 2019 at Saks Fifth Avenue to benefit House of Ruth, a battered women’s support shelter in Los Angeles, for those looking to see the world from Zahara’s artistic POV.
