On March 23, Pedro and Jen were spotted hanging out in the valet area of the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood after having dinner at the property’s Tower Bar. The photos of them chatting immediately sparked dating rumors, but unfortunately for shippers of Pedro and Jen, the icons are just good friends for now. The Last of Us star was asked about the outing and Jen about a million times at the March 24 premiere of The Last of Us season 2. He couldn’t stop gushing about Jen and their friendship.

“We’re friends and we went to dinner with mutual friends,” he confirmed to E! News, joking, “It happens.” Pedro also told Entertainment Tonight that he and Jen are “very good friends” and enjoyed “a fun martini dinner” together over the weekend.

Do I still want them to date? Absolutely. During a chat with Access Hollywood, Pedro was asked if he’d ever go on The Morning Show and he responded, “I would do anything for Jennifer.” He said that she’s a great friend in times of “crisis.” Pedro shared, “She’s that person. She’s that person to everyone. if you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.” (Yeah, I would ask what we are after this.)

He added, “If you’re really high at a party, make eye contact with Jen Aniston and she’ll calm your central nervous system.” Note to self: Go to a party with Pedro and Jen. Pedro said that when you start to get “paranoid,” Jen looks at you and gets you a glass of water, and then you’re fine.
