To absolutely no one’s surprise, The Golden Wedding was a masterpiece. Yes, we expected the emotions to be high and the sentiments to be sweet but… did you get a good look at the floral arrangements? I paused and zoomed in. Twice. Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner married the *second* love of his life, Theresa Nist, in a televised ceremony on January 4. The online reactions to the Golden Wedding gave us everything we needed: laughs, tears, appropriate jabs at the bridesmaid dresses.
There was a literal red carpet step-and-repeat before the wedding hosted by Golden Bachelor contestant Kathy Swarts and former Bachelorette Charity Lawson. Meghan and Harry wish. Plus other losers from Gerry’s season were there (yikes), the new Bachelor Joey Graziadei, and a bunch of other rando Bachelor Nation members. It was a dream and I’ll be thinking about it for weeks to come.
